Acer Aspire 4310 AHCI installation problem

My final problem with the Acer Aspire 4310 laptop under windows XP is that this Mass Storage Controller will not be installed under AHCI installer/driver from acer euro.

The reason according from the installer...

"Did not meet the requirements"

I said... wtf????

Anyways, it's working without the AHCI controller.... who cares... lol

I'll play with it later if I get in the mood to do so.

Acer Aspire 4310, 2nd laptop fix for the month

Acer Aspire 4310 is another headache if you want windows XP on it.

However, the wifi (on my case a broadcom) driver will not work. This sucks I know, for some reason it can't see the card. And will ask you to put it in. The thing is, its there.

The workaround is that you point the driver directly to the bcmwl5.inf file.

One device hasn't install on it yet, it's Mass Storage Controller yet. I use AHCI yet nothing, weird but atleast I didn't have the problem of booting the installer w/ a slipstream SATA driver.

Rohan Online Closed Beta

Rohan Online looks like an exciting game, I almost can't wait for it. LUG announced Closed Beta February, 2009.

I hope they will not exceed the Closed Beta testing and quickly move to Open Beta Testing...

...and never ever reset the servers.

I will definitely play this addictively if they don't reset the server.

The point of being early in the game during closed/open beta testing bores me quickly if my account got reset.

My Hackintosh

After a week or so... (I think I started January 21, 2009) , I have successfully configured my LAN to work. It's an onboard Intel Pro 100/VE LAN adapter. It took me days just to configured it. Finally I have good internet connection on my PC that run MAC's OS X. Configuring drivers for a non-mac computer like the PC takes a lot of patience, attitude, concentration, coffee, peanuts, and a whole lot of reading. You see, configuring in a "hackintosh environment" is like setting up a linux system. You configure your own drivers, setup up vendor and device id manually. Unlike in windows that you just double click your driver installers.

Upon writing this post, I'm actually writing "in it" using the operating system of mac in a pc.

I made the screenshot using GRAB.
I have installed Yahoo Messenger for my mac (err.. pc), blogged, surfed, chat and the SDK Developer Kit for iPhone.

I still have more to do, my video card aren't running at it's full capabilities. My desktop resolution is 1024x768, and my soundcard still aren't working.

But I guess all will be easy now I have internet connection.

The Damn OS is fast...

Hackintosh

Currently, I'm playing with Hackintosh a.k.a. OSX86 the Mac OS X installed on a PC.

As of now, I'm successful in installing one in a D946GZIS Intel Motherboard, Dual Core Pentium CPU. But still need some fix on driver issues, right now I'm desperate configuring its NIC which is an Intel PRO 100 VE.

With two 512 DDR2 Rams and a GEFORCE 7300 GT 256 DDR, its nice to know it's running smoothly.

I will post more in my venture to the hackintosh world.

The Limits of Sage Mode - Naruto 432

If you have read Naruto Chapter 432, its very ironic to see Sage Mode in a very short period of time. Well, you know Naruto. He's always impulsive and jumps into strategies without thinking. He used "Rasen Shuriken", the Rasenggan Shuriken, but this time he was able to throw it at the enemy at a distance.

However, Pain didn't take a critical hit. The Rasen Shuriken exploded, and took almost all of Naruto's Sage Chakra.

Gamabunta swallowed up Summon(or Animal Realm, I really forgot... :D), disconnecting it from Pain's Rinneggan.

Naruto took one of Pain's bodies with double "rasenggan" on both of his hands.

Now Naruto ran out of Sage Mode, the question is...

How will he fight Pain, now that he is not in Sage Mode.

Hope the "Ninja of Suprises" won't disappoint us, or atleast I got one clue for Naruto 433 predictions. Pain will manage to escape.

For the love of robotics

Last saturday and sunday, watching "robots movie" came into my mind. I remembered this cool movie in the 80's "Short Circuit". Actually, I have only seen Short Circuit 2 so I was in movie delight last saturday.

Unfortunately after Short Circuit 2, there was no more sequel followed.

Today I google`d and youtube`d some robots and I found this one interesting.

One thing is confirmed though, Sasuke didn't appear in Naruto Chapter 431 which in contradicts the Naruto 431 Spoilers. As well as some predictions in the Naruto 431 Spoilers regarding the frogs spit oil on the summons and Naruto using Katon Wildfire Technique.


This time, another week of waiting for Naruto Chapter 432. Arg! Arg! Arg!

Well, I have been restless about the Naruto 431 issue. Spoilers and raw manga sources have seemed to leaked out now. According to http://anime-and-manga.info/naruto-431-raw-spoiler/, Naruto will make an awesome comeback with his new skills.

Oh, I really want to see the frogs fighting out with Naruto.

Cool movie based in real life - Fighter in the Wind

After some work in the shop last night, went back home and open up the tube. Tuned in to Kapuso Channel 7 (naks!), and found myself watching this movie titled "Fighter in the Wind". Although already "Tagalog" Dubbed, the movie is good.
